On Saturday, September 15th, 2018, Superman Fans and Collectors of Hawaii got together to save lives by taking the time to donate blood at a Blood Donor Day.  Members gathered beginning at 10 am at the Blood Bank of Hawaii’s Donor Center at 1907 Young Street in Honolulu.

Each person needing blood at a hospital requires approximately 100 units of blood and a single donation provides only about 1 unit.   You can see why donating blood is so desperately needed.
